Electric meters
To help manage rising energy costs fairly, we’ve installed Rolec Smart Card Meters on all electric hook-up pitches. Find out more about how they work here – or speak with one of campsite wardens if you have any questions.
Daily allowance
Each pitch now includes a daily 2.5kWh electricity allowance – perfect for charging phones and light use. If you’re using higher-powered appliances like heaters, kettles, or fridges, you can top up as needed at a rate of 40p per kWh.
We chose this system so guests only pay for what they use, rather than raising prices for everyone. Your credit will be pre-loaded when you arrive, and you can top up between 8am and 8pm. If you run out unexpectedly, we’ll always do our best to help.
